In these difficult economic times, it seems like more and more people are longing for "the good old days." So, it's only appropriate that this year's annual picnic is this year returning to Willow Glen Park, where it was first held in the early days of the chamber decades ago.
Yet, while this convenient location may be "new" to many members, it remains the highlight of the Chamber's calendar - and on the social agendas of the nearly 1,000 Chamber members who look forward to seeing old colleagues and friends, and meeting new ones, in a totally stress-free environment. Make plans now to join us for this one event where you can focus solely on food, friends and fun.
Enjoy music by Burning House, Berks County's own, SOUL, MOTOWN & ROCK REVIEW DANCE BAND!

This also is an economical way for you to reward your employees for a "job well done" as our business environment continues to improve - without the cost of organizing and hosting an event of your own. At the Chambers annual picnic, they can feast on the famous Shearer's BBQ chicken, raw and steamed clams, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, pepper cabbage and more! Plus, there are also free-flowing taps of both soda and beer to wash it all down!
For more information about the picnic, contact Carolyn Shultz Spano (610) 898-7779 or CSpano@GreaterReadingChamber.org, and register online at GreaterReadingChamber.org.
